GitHub Actions CI/CD pipeline optimizations聽#594

Closed as not planned
Closed as not planned

Description

Hi Vincent Biret (@baywet) and Darrel (@darrelmiller) 馃檪

Yesterday when we got the notification about the merge, we decided to give the pipeline a glance and see if anything we've learned during the past month could be applied to optimize it.

In the connected PR we've added detailed descriptions of the changes, including one very curious finding about the tests.

I haven't created the PR yet, because I am still writing some descriptions.
I will know for next time to make the issue and PR the other way around to avoid confusion. Sorry about that. 馃檪

We've made a number of improvements to the workflows since this was initially opened and are fairly satisfied with the value and performance of those. Closing. Please re-open with specifics if you feel like something could still be improved here.
