Draft Android

A simple markdown notes app synced to your mac via GitHub repo

1. Install the app

2. Create a new GitHub repo (Keep it private for personal notes)

3. Go to GitHub settings -> Developer Settings -> Personal Access Tokens -> Fine-grained Token

4. Generate new token

   • Set a prefered expiry time
     

   • Change repository access to "Only select repositories"

   • Select your notes repository
     

   • "+ Add permissions" and check "Contents"
     

   • Set permission to Read and write
     

   • Generate token
     

   • Copy the token (This will not be available to view again)

5. In the Draft app:
   

   • Set your notes repository link

   • Paste the personal access token

   • Set your commit author name'

   • Set commit author email

   • And "Save & Sync Repository"

6. Done! Enjoy :)
